We’d like to extend a warm welcome to Tyler Vaughan who was recently signed on to the Jetty flow team. You’ll find Tyler shredding in Monmouth County, NJ when he’s not traveling in search of waves…and he does travel quite a bit! He’s hoping to obtain his Master’s in Spanish Translation! Photog Ryan Struck was nice enough to send over this shot of Mr. Vaughan navigating through an ice tunnel.

Surfing began inspiring music in the early 60’s with Dick Dale, Del-Tones, and then The Beach Boys, etc, etc…but as of late more and more bands are falling into the surf-inspired category strumming and banging away to create tunes that take you straight to a sunny beach in the middle of summer, even if its 30 degrees out your window…Florida’s Surfer Blood are buzzing with an east coast inspired take on surf rock…Check out the track ‘Swim’ which has been getting some serious attention

Here’s an upbeat song from The Grouch & Eligh featuring Pigeon John and Gift of Gab. Probably one of the best Hip-Hop songs of 2009 that you’ve never heard!?

Brian Williams always escapes the cold, Jersey winters for a bit, but here’s a little vid by Rob Kelly of the boys trying to cure the blues of a long, cold flat spell a couple of weeks ago!
